We use very high quality waxes and strips to ensure client comfort and to achieve best possible results. Waxing can be very painful when not done properly. Our therapists are experienced, they have full knowledge of before and after care and care that needs to be taken during the waxing. Their experienced hands help client bear minimum possible discomfort, there is skill and knowledge involved in how to lay the wax, strips, pot temperature, ideal hair length for waxing, before and after care. The assessment of skin type and it’s toning is also critical, care needs to be taken when waxing loose skin.
We maintain highest possible health and hygiene standards at our salon. We only use disposable single use items for waxing. No double dipping of waxing spatula is our policy followed by all beauty therapists.
Double dipping means dipping the same waxing spatula more than once into the wax pot, double dipping carries dead skin cells and bacteria into the wax pot and can cause cross infections.

Waxing pre care:
Area to be waxed needs to be clean, free of moisture or makeup. We can provide antibacterial wipes to prepare the area prior to waxing.
Every person has slightly different hair growth cycle, identify yours and book appointments at regular intervals for waxing for optimum result. Anything under 3mm or over 10mm will cause discomfort during waxing. Too short are not suitable for waxing and too long needs to be trimmed back.
Some treatments and medical procedures have wait time before waxing can be done, consult your doctor.
Some medicines have skin thinning effect, do not perform waxing on those patients.

Avoid waxing pregnant women during first 12 weeks of their pregnancy. They should consult doctor prior to getting waxing done.
Pulse light treatments like IPL, Laser therapies and ablative procedures can cause mild to medium erythema, wait for 2-4 weeks for the redness to settle before getting waxing.
Do not perform waxing on an irritated or infected skin.
Waxing After Care:
- No deodorant or cologne on waxed area until skin settles
- Avoid high intensity exercise for 24 hours after waxing as it can irritate skin
- Avoid sauna, hot spa or heated Jacuzzi for 48 hours
- Rebook appointments every 4-6 weeks to minimise skin discomfort
- Avoid wearing tight clothes, wear loose clothes for skin to calm down. Wear cotton underpants after XXX waxing.
- No beauty treatments or ablative procedures on the waxed area for 48 hours.
- Protect skin from UV and sun exposure, wear sunblock to avoid aggravation of skin.
